A permanent opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee Bob Martin's busy FMCG Warehouse facility in Cardiff Docks.
Managing the 24/7 operation, you will be responsible for all warehouse matters including the following;
- Leading, motivating and developing 2 Team Leaders and approximately 20 operatives in a non-unionised environment
- Manage all matters concerning the ambient warehouse with circa 6000 pallet spaces and a manual picking process
- Monitor and champion Health & Safety
- Set, monitor and review warehouse KPIs (e.g. pick accuracy and productivity, service levels and inventory control).
- Liaising closely with Bob Martin's outsourced transport companies and planning departments to ensure product is available to customer at all times
- Ensure all customer service level agreements are met and report any issues directly to the Operations Director.
Candidates who are of interest to Bob Martin must be able to deliver continuous improvement within warehousing. They must also be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of managing a manual pick, FMCG / Retail environment.
Successful applicants will also posses;
- A strong will to succeed, evidenced by a strong track record of KPI achievement and process improvement.
- Have excellent communication and decision-making skills, reflected in your reviews and feedback
- Be passionate about logistics and people development
- Have a flexible approach to working and an understanding of the retail and FMCG industry.
Starting Salary between £33,000 and £45,000 depending on experience
