Our CLIENT based in Cambridge is looking for:
Web Designer/Developer
A creative and technically strong individual with a passion for Websites is required to design, build, update and further develop key consumer facing web products as part of a small dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will show excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel at differing levels. Being able to work as an individual and as part of a team will be key to this role, as will the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality and enthusiasm.
Extensive web experience is a necessity with a broad knowledge of solutions and technologies.
While user interface design and development will be the primary function of this role there will also be a requirement to get involved in some of the basic functional coding and integrations (.Net) into other systems.
Demonstrable .Net experience is a prerequisite.
The following will be viewed as requirements for the role:
HTML / XML / XHTML
Javascript (cross browser emphasis)
CSS 2.0/2.1
.NET Framework 3.5 / ASP.NET
Visual Studio
Photoshop (expert level)
The successful candidate will have a methodical attitude to documentation, planning and communication, with the ability to perform under pressure and bring new ideas to the table.
This role will suit a 'web expert' who has a very strong portfolio of varied site builds that include intuitive navigation, technical excellence and design of a commercial quality.
