Based in West London, one of the UK's most respected e-commerce businesses are seeking a Senior Web Developer on a 3 month contract basis to join their existing Technical Development team. Working in it's vibrant head office you will join a company which has recently placed second in the prestigious Tech Track 100 league table for fastest growing UK businesses
As a Senior Web Developer, your key objective will be to Develop, Continuously Enhance and Implement the company's website with a particular focus on the Ad Sales side of the business. Additionally your core responsibilities will include:
*Delivering a fantastic customer experience using the latest web technologies
*Coordinate website requirements with business users and other internal and external customers
*Full project involvement from design through to testing and implementation
*Mentoring and Training more junior team members
*Ensuring personal technical skills are kept up to date resulting in most effective use in the business place
It is anticipated that in order to be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
*Minimum 3 years front end web development experience
*Must have advanced hand coding skills in HTML, XHTML and CSS
* Javascript skills
*Experience building AJAX driven interfaces using commonly used libraries
*Proven experience building products compliant with W3C standards
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to work remotely and as part of a team at a senior level
