JOB PURPOSE:Responsible for ongoing development of websites.
Managing technical web projects on time and to budget. You will be responsible for providing impact analysis on ecommerce projectsand ensuring a positive user experience for our customers.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:To work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to devise and oversee ecommerce strategy.
Responsible for the ongoing development of high transactional client facing web sites.
Manage the migration and technical implementation of 3rd party CMS solution “in-house”.
Liaise closely with colleagues based in the U.S to scope, design, test and implement technical developments websites.
Provide support, feedback and impact analysis for ecommerce related projects such as catalogue production, content management and marketing effectiveness.
Manage a programme of regular user acceptance testing of the various websites ensuring a smooth as possible experience for customers.
Develop and maintain micro sites as required to support the ecommerce strategy.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong web-based experience.
Experience of working within a developing team / redesign of a major website.
As the .NET Web / Software Developer you will be responsible delivering technical web projects on time and to budget. You will have a solid background in maintaining & developing applications from conception to implementation using the windows .NET framework.
Thorough understanding of the following:
oASP.NET (C#)
oSQL Server 2000 / 2005
oXML / JavaScript / JQuery / AJAX
oIIS
Must be able to prioritise, working to tight deadlines.
