A fantastic opportunity to join a company in Leicestershire who are a household name in their field. They are looking for an experienced front end Web Developer to work in the creative team on a wide variety of websites across their various companies.
This developer would be responsible for the ongoing development of a group of websites and intranet. Elements include specification, design, development and implementation of new online developments based on the current and future demands of the business for all brands. Providing support to New Media marketing activities including integration of third-party data using API's.
They are looking for a Web Developer who has commercial experience in majority of the following packages:
XHTML
CSS (cascading stylesheets)
Object oriented PHP5
MySQL
Unobtrusive JavaScript
AJAX
XML
XSLT
Your experience should cover the following areas:
Web standards
Accessibility
Usability
Experience of using API's for communication between key system componenets
Proven expeience of applying the practices and disciplines necessary for developing and implenting successful, robust and reliable systems
Communicate effectively with both technical and business personnel
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
