Our client currently has an opportunity for a Web Production Lead. The main focus being on the core production of website templates and content population through HTML, CSS and image integration, often within Dreamweaver or a content management solution. The role also involves working closely with the developers for ASP / .NET and database integration facilitating a high level of design. The successful candidate will work with other web developers to develop new technology offerings, deliver best practise web solutions and support existing client websites.
The individual requires a good eye for design and also a good level of understanding regarding web production and accessibility issues. A good level of English is also desirable as copy and content generation will be needed when not provided. You need to be confident dealing directly with the client and facilitating the project lifecycle, as will be supporting the maintenance of approximately 100 existing websites. The right candidate will have a related degree and at least 3 years of industry experience.
Applicants must have excellent project management and communication skills, be experienced with creative software and graphics manipulation and experienced with HTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, XSLT. Also useful, web development Classic ASP, VBSCRIPT, version control systems, Subversion and SourceSafe.
