In this new position of Web Technical Consultant you will be responsible for the implementation and deployment of our clients Web Systems which includes the public web sites, self service platform and customer and vendor extranets.You will be part of the Business Systems team, which is responsible for delivering state of the art Business Systems to the worldwide offices.
At the moment, the team has completed the first phase of build and is working on the world-wide rollout and subsequent development phases.Although the role is based in the UK, you will be working closely with colleagues all over the world and make sure the Team meets their expectations and the expectations of our Customers and Vendors. Foreign language skills (specifically German) are a bonus.
Your daily role will be to work with colleagues across the group to assist in the deployment of our clients web platforms.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- collating and evaluation user requirements
- building of test and staging environments for UAT
- preparing training material and documentation
- developing test scenarios and cases and to act as the first and second line support for logged incidents
Long term, the success of your role will be measured by the end user adoption levels. This role requires an enthusiastic and energetic self-starting individual who has good communication skills, a hands-on approach and an eye for detail.
Our client’s ideal candidate has a solid understanding of business (specifically in a B2B environment) but also has sufficient technical knowledge and experience to understand both the Web and ERP technologies.Start: ASAP
