As the Webmaster/Systems Administrator you will be involved in a wide range of leading edge project based work as well as day to day responsibilities of supporting, managing, and enhancing the web hosting, website and web application environment. The work carried out will have to be of the highest level due to the number of business critical website and web applications you'll be dealing with throughout your role.
The Webmaster/Systems Administrator responsibilities:
*Setting up and creating web applications
*Supporting, managing and enhancing the web hosting, website and web application environment
*To ensure high availability of web sites and web applications
*To offer advice and guidance on strategic enhancements to the web infrastructure
*Project based work (a number of these will be on an International level)
*Implementation, Administration, Troubleshooting, Optimisation and Security of the web environment
*Communicating with stakeholders across the business from Senior Management to IT, Interactive and Development teams
Webmaster/Systems Administrator skills required:
*Redhat Linux (with Clustering)
*Windows 2003 - 2008 Clustering
*Apache
*IIS Virtual hosting
*Coldfusion (although will consider candidates with strong Java web server experience)
*SQL/MySQL
*Shell Scripting
