e-Learning Developer - Graphic Design
Milton Keynes
c£25,000 DOE
Our client provides e-learning services to businesses across all industry sectors, offering their customers a one-stop development and hosting solution. They now seek to recruit an e-Learning Developer with a Graphic Design bias.
This is a permanent vacancy to be based in Milton Keynes, although there may be an option to work from home some of the time. Self employed applicants are preferred, although an employed basis will be considered.
Working under the direction of the Lead Consultant, the e-Learning Developer will create bespoke e-learning and learning portals for customers in both the private and public sectors. You will be tasked with producing visually effective, informative, innovative and interactive e-learning content.
To be considered for this position, the e-Learning Developer must have commercial experience in either multimedia and graphic design or e-learning systems development.
You will also require the following key skills and attributes:
- Experience of e-learning authoring tools such as Lectora, Captive, Articulate and/or Flash development with Action Scripting
- Strong graphic design skills, and knowledge of graphics applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Degree/Diploma-level qualification in graphic design, interactive multimedia design, web design or similar
- Knowledge of media product design principles and practices, web/electronic publishing and video technologies
A proven commercial background in e-Learning would be a distinct advantage, as would skills in scripting languages such as PHP or ASP, CSS, Joomla, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, ColdFusion and/or Flash plus knowledge of databases such as SQL or MySQL.
