CCL (www.cclglobal.com) has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer (Valves) to be based in Russia on a contract basis. Attractive daily rates. Ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering. High standard of verbal and written communications, including: report writing, presentations, diplomacy and assertiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Candidates should have an organised, systematic approach; self-starter; able to multi-task and still meet deadlines. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in working within a multi-disciplined project team / task force. Familiar and comfortable with ISO9001:2000 and a process based approach to quality management. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good IT skills especially reviewing and commenting on documents and inputting data into information management system. Problem solving, enterprising, relations management, flexibility and excellence orientation. Fluent written and spoken English. Candidates should have several years experience in valve manufacturing and 3 years in inspection. The role involves provision of QA / QC services to the Materials Replacement Project specialising in the monitoring of valve and actuator manufacturers. Responsibilities include: Providing QA services to PMT and monitoring of Valve Suppliers by a combination of Review, mark-up and approval of Contractor’s Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plans. Audit and witness of all suppliers’ test and inspection programmes. Documentation review. Support to the PMT in the day to day monitoring of contractual compliance.
