Person with proven management and sales skills - enthusiastic, self disciplined and self-motivated, free to travel, good at motivating and organising people and schedules. Ship board experience and or chemical knowledge required. Will be responsible for meeting annual budget and financial management of customer technical support team. General Description of position and skills required:
1.The successful person to be based in Southampton - to provide customer liaison / technical support / sales, for all existing customers world-wide and to bring in and develop new customers and new markets. Will be responsible for meeting annual budgets and financial management of customer technical support team. Will work closely with Management to build company into a world leader in the environmental industry.
Area of responsibility:
• Responsible for all customer requirements / Customer liaison
• Responsible for all product implementation and ship support
• Responsible for all ship support visits in an orderly and logical way
• Responsible for supplying technical info by visit and by mail
• Responsible for meeting annual budgets and for financial management of customer technical support accounts
•Must work closely with Logistics arm of the business to co-ordinateships deliveries with ship visits, implementation of new products and training - liaise with Ships personnel and customer
carry out on board training- sail with the vessel – ensure product use is correct.
including fitting and maintaining of dispensers and pumps on vessels
• To monitor and assess the performance of suppliers and company support team
• To Manage and co-ordinate Customer Service Team Members.
• To manage and co-ordinate customer information to the team
•To relate to customer decision makers and keep them informed by meetings and by regular detailed informative reports – showing savings consumption etc
• To monitor and meet recommended annual consumption levels on the ships
• To ensure increased turn over from demonstration and promotion of other or new products
• Responsible for the effective management of Health and Safety of team.

2. To also develop other customers and markets, responsible for:
• Visiting and building relationships with customer decision makers, captains engineers ferries, tankers, freighters, navies
and mega yachts and obtaining sales
• Defining any new market – ferries, tankers yachts land based

•Eventually building contacts with these potential customers – Tankers –Freighters tankers, Yacht Management Companies and Yacht Consolidation companies, ship yards
• Product and Accessory deliveries and maintenance of delivery vehicles

Work experience requirements:
• Management experience
• Ship board experience and or chemical knowledge
• Sales and After Sales Support
• Good Computer skills
• Good with excel and budgets

Education Requirements
• Fluent in English (USA Med ) Italian an advantage (Med)
• University degree a benefit
• Knowledge of Sage Accpac an advantage
• Bio chemistry. - chemical knowledge an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Good command of the written language

Remuneration
Will depend upon experience, motivation and ability. Bonus scheme related to performance, car allowance, medical benefits and good salary for the right person with plenty of potential to develop the position further.
