Could you be the engineer they are looking for?
LOCATION: Newmarket area
SALARY: £30k - £35k
SHIFTS - 3 Shift System - Mon - Fri - rotates weekly
6 am - 2 pm,
2 pm - 10 pm
10 pm - 6 am
12 hours compulsory overtime every 6 weeks on weekends which is unpaid as already included as part of salary package
THE ROLE
You will work as part of a team . The position involves fault finding, trouble shooting, fixing, replacing parts and other maintenance based activities.
A typical day might include:
Maintaining and developing the factory equipment
Reacting to breakdowns
Completing projects
Maintaining and managing documentation
Communicating with your team and management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
At least 5 years engineering experience
Able to work unsupervised
Must have an electrical engineering qualification
Previous experience of working in a food industry FMCG environment is highly desirable.
