The water department of a consultancy in Leeds needs a hydrologist with specific knowledge and experience with regards to hydraulic modelling. You need a working knowledge of the FEH and possess a valid driving license. This is ideal for a specialist hydrologist seeking a challenging new role.
Qualification – MSc Hydrology / Water Resources / Engineering Hydrology
Experience - 2 years
Company - Environmental Engineering Consultancy
Staff - 500
Duties:
• Projects with specific reference to the Flood Estimation Handbook
• Hydraulic modelling techniques
• Floor Risk Assessments
• Environmental Impact Assessments
• Technical report writing
• Field sampling, monitoring and analysis
• Project management
Typical Project:
Hydraulic modelling and hydrological investigations, with specific reference to the FEH, across the Yorkshire region
