FOOD MANUFACTURER (FMCG)

Our client is one of the UK's leading food manufacturers and they produce some of the nation's favourite foods.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's team.

LOCATION: Norwich area

SALARY:

Maintenance Engineer -£28k - £32k

Team leader - £35k

SHIFTS - 12 hour shifts - 4 on 4 off (7 - 7 days and nights). Sometimes changes to 3 on/3 off and 5 on/5 off.

There is a possibility that the shift pattern engineering team leader/supervisor might change so please bear this in mind if you are interested in this position.

THE ROLE

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Maintain and develop the factory equipment
React to breakdowns
Completion of projects
Maintain and manage documentation
Communicate with your team and management
Participate in training as required

TEAM LEADER/SUPERVISOR

- Multi skilled engineering background
- Ideally have refrigeration/ammonia experience
- Previous team leader/management experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE (FOR BOTH ROLES)

At least 5 years engineering experience

Can be multi skilled or electrical bias.

Must have an electrical engineering qualification

Refrigeration experience ideal for both roles (especially ammonia)

16th edition

Experience of working with PLCs, packing machinery, peelers, cookers and fryers would put you at an advantage

Previous experience of working in a food/beverage FMCG environment is essential.
