As a market leader in the Rail and Materials Handling sectors, clearly Safety and Compliance is our highest priority. We are interested in hearing from you if you have the Nebosh National General Certificate, Construction Certificate or equivalent and also it would be advantageous if you have a good working knowledge of the maintenance, hire and operational systems in the Rail industry.
This role involves carrying out Health, Safety & Environment inspections on our various sites within the South whilst also developing and maintaining a safe system of working for the company’s employees. Other responsibilities include carrying out accident/incident investigations and compiling the necessary reports with the appropriate recommendations, plus carrying out necessary H,S & E training to both our employees and our clients. You must possess excellent interpersonal skills capable of building sustainable relationships. Working from home, you will be responsible for the depots/sites within your geographical area and will report to the Group Health, Safety & Environmental Manager based in Portishead, Bristol. Ideally, candidates must have a Personal Track Safety card.
