RETAIL ASSET MANAGER

The Company

Warner Estate Holdings PLC is a quoted company on the London Stock Exchange, specialising in the acquisition and active management of property throughout the UK, with approximately £3.0bn of assets owned or under management. We are looking to appoint an exceptional Retail Asset Manager, to enhance the returns of our shopping centres.

The Person

  • A proven track record in a similar role in either a private practice or client organisation; where they have demonstrated their initiative and drive as a self starter, preferably with retail experience;
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of identifying and completing asset management initiatives;
  • A team player with initiative who has the ability to work independently and flexibly;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communicator;
  • Circle Valuer and Developer experience preferable but not essential;
  • MRICS with post qualified experience.

The role

  • Working within a small team, to undertake the asset management of the existing shopping centre portfolio of c.£700m in value to optimise both income and capital growth and to enhance investor returns;
  • Identify asset management opportunities, initiate transactions and follow them through to completion;
  • Devise and implement rent review and leasing strategies;
  • Oversee and manage external consultants including leasing, professional and managing agents to maximise performance;
  • To work closely with the Centre Management Team providing support and guidance on technical and strategic issues;
  • Assist and support the Divisional Director and Senior Asset Manager in their roles, including the quarterly reporting process;
  • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan and Budgets and deliver these, interfacing with the Fund as necessary;
  • Identify and analyse property investments for purchase and disposal, negotiating transactions and complete the pre-acquisition due diligence process;
  • Work closely with the finance and accounts teams to ensure rent and service charge collection targets are achieved.

Remuneration and package

Remuneration dependent on qualifications and experience. In addition there is a performance related bonus and an attractive corporate benefits package.
