The role involves detailed product development and design, covering new generation motor homes, caravans and other special purpose vehicles. With exposure to a number of product development projects running at any one time, you will excel at providing leadership, project management and technical support to clients and colleagues. Design and development initiatives will flow into production, working with the on-site staff to maximise the ‘manufacturability’ of the design.

You will need to possess at least 10 years experience in mechanical design of motor homes, caravans or other automotive vehicles and have experience gained within a manufacturing environment. Your ability to look strategically at technological advances and future product markets is paramount to this role. An appropriate Engineering degree, working knowledge of 3D design packages, SolidWorks with PDM, plus the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, will ensure your success.
