Accommodation Manager – Avon Way Colchester
CRM Limited is currently looking to recruit a full time Accommodation Manager for a refurbished purpose built accommodation block for students in Colchester, Essex.
CRM is a fast growing property management company with multiple sites throughout the UK managing both residential corporate properties, and purpose built student properties.
CRM is currently the largest private student accommodation management company in the UK.
Title: Accommodation Manager (ref AVON/AM)
Reports to: Regional Head of Student Management
The varied role involves:
·In conjunction with the Building Manager, managing the site in compliance with ANUK National Code of standards
·Active liaison with University staff including attending regular meetings with relevant bodies
·Working with University accommodation team to establish a good working relationship
·Ensuring a warm, welcoming environment to students, parent and visitors to the site
·Responding to tenant queries, pastoral care and maintenance issues throughout the academic year
·Establishing and develop working relationships with suppliers
·Being part of an out of hours rota for site emergencies
·Undertaking regular inspections of flats
·Ensuring the site is a safe environment in which to live and work.
Applicants should possess:
·A mature and outgoing personality
·A good sense of humour with the ability to apply common sense
·Good level of computer literacy using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
·Excellent communication skills displaying sensitivities to and understanding students needs
·The ability to organise and meet deadlines and targets
·Preferably experience in the property management, facilities management, or hospitality sectors
