An excellent opportunity has arisen within Computacenter, for a Management Accounts Analyst to join the Central Finance Team in Computacenter in Hatfield. The main job purpose is to support the Management Accounting Team in the production & distribution of internal financial information within the company on a monthly basis. The successful candidate will be providing general (ad-hoc) support for accounting & administrative tasks & duties.
Responsibilities:
·Month End Processing
·Accruals, prepayments, allocations & reconciliations.
·Understanding and gathering requirements from the business with timely and accurate execution, whilst managing the expectation
·Data collection, compilation and input for month end processing and ad-hoc adjustments.
·Liaising with Accounts Payable and other departments within the organization on GL issues
·Updating GL ledgers and investigate any errors
·Direct Financial Support for various overhead departments
·P&L review meetings with the business, provide support and month end reporting.
·Development of accurate & timely procedures & reports to enhance the accuracy & detail of the company accounts
Skills Required:
·12-18 months experience within an Accounting position
·Minimum AAT or Part Qualified in CIMA/ACCA
·Accruals, prepayments, allocations & reconciliations
·Basic understanding of Profit and Loss reports
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum A-Level or Equivalent Qualifications
