Fleet Development Manager
Location: Middlesex
Salary: up to £35,000 pa (depending on experience) + car & benefits package
Job Purpose:
To develop, implement and monitor the strategy, initiatives and programmes to achieve Company fleet objectives as identified in the plan and budget.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage all fleet marketing and support functions.
• Provide the car and van sales teams with effective programmes, marketing and new vehicle launch activity.
• Validate fleet communication plan (channels and tools).
• Manage specific projects (e-procurement) or represent fleet requirements.
• Maximise effectiveness of the demonstrator fleet.
• Management of the key Company programmes.
• Manage the day to day activity: working cycle, Fleet KPI, whole life cost providers etc.
• Improve the fleet after sales service offer and cost effectiveness.
Performance Criteria:
• Achievement of relevant KPI’s.
• Achievement of the special programmes objectives in terms of volumes and contribution.
• Management of marketing/business link and communication budget.
• Respect of the project deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Knowledge:
• Full understanding of fleet specificities (environment, players, customers etc).
• Good commercial understanding and broad business knowledge.
• Good knowledge of French
Skills:
• Analytical approach
• Ability to communicate and interact at senior management and board level.
• Ability to influence and motivate.
• Computer literate.
• Self motivated, pro-active and flexible for multi-faceted projects.
Experience:
• Relevant experience within the motor industry, working for a manufacturer/Importer in a fleet sales function – knowledge of the LCV market.
• Team management experience.
