This 6 month contract Team Administrator role is assisting with some highly respected charity campaigns renowned throughout the UK. You will be supporting the Community Fundraising team, particularly its senior members, to deliver these campaigns effectively.
In this role you will:
o Provide administrative support for existing and new fundraising campaigns
o Help with processing of expenditure, updating financial systems to ensure accurate reconciliation
o Update the database Raiser’s Edge
o Support Community Campaigns and Marketing team with direct marketing by managing the requirements of the fundraisers in the National and Regional Centres. Material includes pin badges, collecting tins, t-shirts, stickers, sashes and balloons, etc
o Provide day to day administrative support
o Help to support on projects
As a candidate you will be:
• Experienced in a fundraising environment
• Experienced in office practice, systems and processes
• Equipped with a good working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge
• Professional, calm and approachable, with excellent customer and client service skills
• Attentive to detail
• Enthusiastic
• Very strong at communicating effectively and appropriately, verbally and through writing
• Excellent with organisation and administration
• Able to juggle a wide range of activities, prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
• Excellent with computer skills and have working experience of Word processing, Excel and database packages.
• Able top deal with stakeholders in a patient and calm manner particularly when under pressure
• Able to show tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
