Our client is a rivers and coastal engineering specialist, whose water engineering department is regarded to be one of the best in the world. This represents an exciting opportunity for a hydrology orientated MSc level graduate who is looking to get their career off to the best start possible. You will be working from the Liverpool office but be involved in both national and international projects!
Description: Qualifications – BSc Geology / Geography (similar discipline), or a BEng Civil Engineering. This will be followed by an MEng Civil Engineering or an MSc Water Management / Hydrology / Catchment Management (similar discipline).
Experience - MSc graduate level entry (ideally some flood risk and river engineering experience in a practical setting)
Company - International Engineering Consultancy
Staff - 130 UK staff
Duties:
• Production of detailed reports and studies
• Numerical modelling
• Design of coastal and rivers erosion and flooding solutions
• Management of personal work schedule
• Liaison with clients, local authorities and regulatory bodies
• Drafting and checking drawings produced by technicians
• Site surveys
• Flood risk assessments
• Hydrological and hydraulic modelling
• Assisting with the production of construction schemes
