A large multidisciplinary consultancy has a requirement for an engineer to work on their remediation projects in the West Midlands. The company is one of the largest in the world and they work on projects all over the world in a range of sectors including commercial, environmental and defense,
You must have knowledge and experience of working on contaminated land projects, and of the full processes involved in the remediation cycle. In addition you should also be educated in a relevant discipline.
Qualification - BSc / MSc in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geosciences or similar
Experience - 1 / 2 Years
Company - Multidisciplinary Consultancy
Duties
• Producing commercial proposals and competing for tenders
• Designing the installation and overseeing the operational function of the remediation process
• Controlling the budgetary resources for the project
• Managing sub contractors and other members of project staff
• Ensure that all activities meet legislative standards
• Logging data and producing technical reports based upon this data
Typical projects
You will be working on the remediation phase of a range of Geo-Environmental projects across the Midlands. They will be in different sectors including commercial & residential developments, Brownfield regeneration and the defense sectors.
