The Role:

• Working with fresh foods, within a team of chefs, in a driven, fast-paced kitchen – high volume top quality food!!
• Full responsibility for the running of the kitchen and all operational aspects including the running of service, ordering, stock control, all staffing issues and health & safety
• Recruitment, training and supervising junior staff members – must lead by example
• Must be able to achieve food costs and be able to work to company spec
• Quality control and ensure consistency of all food going out of the kitchen

The Person

• Must be an ambitious, motivated Kitchen Manager or Head Chef who can manage a large team of chefs and must be able to work under pressure
• Must have excellent communication, organisational and man-management skills
• Love to work with people and able to train junior staff members
• Attention to detail is crucial and must be a methodical and process driven individual
• Positive attitude and good work ethic is essential
• Flexible candidate who is able to work evenings and weekends
• You will ideally come from a branded, quality background looking for career development through hard work

The Package: £25,000 TO £28,000 plus bonus
