| Description: |
A leading UK consultancy requires an experienced EMS specialist to join its team in Basingstoke. You will need to have a strong working knowledge of environmental management systems, with some of it ideally within the defence industry sector.
Qualifications - BSc or MSc in an environmental discipline. Full UK driving licence.
Experience - A strong working knowledge of the ISO14001 series. Previous experience of the defence industry is desirable (though not essential)
Company - Multidisciplinary Environmental and Engineering Consultancy
Staff - Over 20 UK offices
Duties:
- Mentoring of team members
- Business development and client management
- EMS and life cycle assessments
- Management systems design and implementation
- Client, regulatory body and local authority liaison
- Waste management and WEEE compliance
- Working knowledge of systems and equipment design concepts
- Project management
Typical Projects:
Undertaking and managing a range of environmental management and assessment work. Projects will include work for the defence industry and public sector organisations.
