Description: An excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected consultancies. You will heavily involved in the future business development of the water environment team, by managing its Welsh and Midlands business sectors.


Qualifications - Post graduate qualification in an environmental science or engineering degree. Appropriately Chartered (e.g. CIWEM)

Experience - Both commercial and technical experience of water engineering related disciplines (hydroecology/flood risk/drainage/water quality/water resource management)

Salary - £35-40k

Company - International Multidisciplinary Environmental Consultancy

Staff - 10 UK offices

Duties:

- Water resources studies
- Sustainable water/drainage management
- Flood risk assessments and management
- EIA
- Research and design
- Industrial compliance
- Water company investigations
- Developing/implementing water related policy (Water Framework and Habitats Directives)

Typical Projects:

You will be overseeing the Water Environment division, particularly in relation to the Water Frameworks and Habitats Directives, UK water legislation/regulations, UK Planning policy and flood risk/drainage management.
