6 x MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS - ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL BIAS
WELL KNOWN FOOD MANUFACTURER (FMCG)
Our client is a well known blue chip food manufacturer. They have invested in the latest Programmable Logic Control (PLC) equipment and are looking for high quality engineers to join them as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our client's team.

LOCATION: Burton upon trent area
SALARY: £27k - £35k (depending on shift pattern) - Salary includes contractual overtime and shift allowance.
SHIFTS - 12 hour shifts - 3 on 3 off (6 a.m. - 6 p.m & 6 p.m - 6 a.m)
Holidays are rostered into the above shift pattern
THE ROLE
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
The role involves maintaining and devloping the factory equipment, reacting to breakdowns in the plant and making sure everything's running smoothly. You'll need to use a highly methodical, detailed approach to finding faults. In addtition, you must be able to work well with production teams to deliver a great service.
Other aspects of the role include:
·Completion of projects
·Maintaining and managing documentation
·Communicating with your team and management
·Maintaining stock levels
·Participating in training as required
·Helping to identify expenditure requirements
·Taking part in risk assessments
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
At least 5 years engineering experience
Need to be multi skilled
Must have an electrical or mechanical engineering qualification
e.g. 16th/17th edition or ONC/HNC/NVQ level 3 in electrical, mechanical or production engineering.
Formal recognised apprenticeship
Computer literacy
Previous experience of working in a food/beverage or other FMCG environment is highly desirable.
You should have a sense of urgency whilst never compromising safety or product quality.
