Oracle E-Business DBA Manager, £50-62K, Chard, Somerset. Our client is a £80m turnover, privately owned manufacturing organisation with over 700 staff. Our client is seeking an Oracle E-Business DBA Manager who will act as Chief Technical Architect, involved in all areas of design, management, support and control over all our clients Oracle eBusiness Suite. The successful individual must be a highly experience Oracle eBusiness DBA with man-management experience, because part of your responsibility will be developing, coaching and managing a team of 2 DBA's. Your other responsibilities will include: database back-up and recoveries, disaster recovery strategy, testing and documentation. Essential is at least 5 years Oracle E-Business Applications DBA experience, significant responsibility in Oracle E-Business implementations and upgrades, extensive knowledge of the Oracle toolset and man-management experience. Highly desirable is any from the following: Oracle RDBMS 9i, Oracle 10g, Oracle Apps 11i, Linux, Unix, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Patching.
