An excellent opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a consultancy with an office in Cambridgeshire. This company has experienced tremendous growth over the last year and this has led to the necessity to expand.
The successful applicant must have at least 2 years Geotechnical experience and also have a relevant educational background. There is an excellent remuneration package and great career prospects available for the right candidate.
Qualification - MSc, BSc Geotechnical Engineering, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology etc...
Duties
- Carrying out Geotechnical site investigations and walkovers
- Trial Pitting, Design of Earthworks, Foundation design, Slope Stability design
- Conducting geotechnical testing
- Writing factual and interpretive reports based on gathered data
- Liaison with clients and relevant authorities
Typical projects
The client works within most sectors so your experience will not be limited to one area. Some of the sectors that you will be working on are transport, water and commercial developments. These projects will be based across the South East and Cambridgeshire.
