To scope the project objectives, schedules and stategies.
Identify, monitor and devise strategies for minimizing risks to the project.
Estimate and specify resources required to deliver the project and produce project budgets.
Establish the requirements of the project management team, its working methods and measures for monitoring performance.
Produce a detailed project plan specifying activities, work breakdown structure, risk management strategy, procurement strategy and any contract terms.
Lead and manage the performance of the project team:agreeing objectives, allocating tasks, assessing and reviewing performance.
Negotiate, arrange and manage internal and external contractors against clearly defined spec
Monitor and review the financial control and progress of the project.
Develop solutions to identified project problems.
Produce project reports and maintain regular communication with identified stakeholders.
Ensure the completion of all required project activities.
Plan, implement and monitor the hand-over of responsibility for the project.
Obtain and evaluate feedback on project performance and report formally to stakeholders.
Acquire sufficient knowledge of all Awarding Body activites using internal resources as required.
