Procurement Manager–Cambridge-£40,000+Good Hol+Bonus
I have been briefed on an excellent Procurement Manager role within a private sector organisation in Cambridge. My client is looking for an individual with proven experience in Procurement to join the expanding Procurement team and manage the strategic operational development by planning, developing and implementing policies.
This is a really exciting position where the Procurement Manager will take responsibility, providing advice and guidance to the organisation and its partners. Proactively contributing to the corporate procurement function by developing, delivering and communicating on approaches to deliver value for money and effective contract delivery, the Procurement Manager will work in the complete procurement cycle to save money.
The successful Procurement Manager should have:
-A high degree of commercial acumen
-Experience of managing change leading to service improvements
-Analytical, decisive and able to display high levels of sensitivity and judgement
-Ability to plan and prioritise own work load methodically
-Understanding of implementation of EU procurement regulations affecting local government
