Our client is offering the opportunity for two suitable candidates to work either full or part time as carers in their Residential Home in the Heart of the Highlands Some experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Applicants may hold an NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in caring or wish to work towards it with support. Key skills and responsibilities include: - Ability to work well within a team
- Awareness of the issues affecting the elderly
- Attending to the needs, wishes, comfort, and hygiene of residents
- Ensuring dignity by assisting with personal appearance.
- Making beds and changing linen disposing of soiled linen in accordance with procedures
- Acting as escort for residents going to hospital, dentist, shops or other approved excursions
The vacancy may require you to work shifts
