Location: Newport
Salary: £35,000

 
Our Client, an industrial Energy provider is looking for a Management Accountant to join their busy Newport office.

Your role will be to support the Financial Director and provide a core function within the Finance team.

 
Responsibilities:

Production of monthly Management Accounts and cash flow forecasts for submission to group
Management of the detailed project budget and re-forecasting where appropriate
Day to day management of the project funds
Drawing funds from project facilities as appropriate
Day to day management of project bank accounts and authorisation of payments
Production of reporting as required under the project facilities and by the management team and investors
Development of systems to analyse project expenditure to aid management reporting
Responsibility for submission of the monthly VAT return and timely recovery of VAT, including liaison with HMRC where appropriate

Skills:

Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred
Experience in the energy sector beneficial
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
