We are currently looking for dynamic and career focused Senior Planner to join a leading main contractor. Your role will be to Co-ordinate and plan resources for a multi-million pound build based in Reading.

RequirementsResponsibilities

• Translating detailed information from contract documents into a construction programme, creating short-term and temporary works programme.
• Monitoring, updating and distributing revised programmes to project team and sub-contractors, as well as requisitioning plant & materials for the project.
• Co-ordinating and managing information into and out of the project, including design and technical information.
• Forecasting and reporting variations from the agreed construction programme and cost plan, including liaison with management and the Quantity Surveyor.

• Have a Construction related HNC/Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Ideally be MCIOB with CSCS – Construction Planner.
• Be an effective communicator, level headed and a good team player.
• Be computer literate with previous experience of commercially controlling a portfolio of projects up to £10M.
• Have an organised and systematic approach and be able to liaise effectively with site operational teams
