Senior Account Manager – Logistics -Bracknell /Southall

Salary£36,000 Base, Bonus, plus Car Allowance, mobile, laptop and fuel card plus benefits

Our Client is one of the major players in the Integrated Logistics Arena with over 60 locations in the UK and Europe

Using their own resources, vehicles and facilities, they deliver integrated, customer specific, cost effective solutions. Their range of services includes: Service Logistics, Specialist Transport, Technical Couriers, Engineers, Configuration and Asset Recovery, and Project Logistics (roll-outs).

The Sales & Marketing function is responsible for all customer accounts. The Senior Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the relationship with the customer within a specific area on behalf of our client.

Scope of the role

• Responsible for ensuring that planned activities are undertaken in accordance with the customer requirements, and that the resulting service is compliant with said requirements;
• Responsible for ensuring the relationship is managed in accordance with the requirements detailed in the CRM System;
• Establishing channels for all types of communication with their customers (routine, non-routine, escalations, etc).

Professional experience

• 5 years plus experience in the Supply Chain sector
• SLA and P&L management.
• 3 years customer facing skills;
• 3 years working through multi-channel environment;
• Customer management experience
• Knowledge of a CRM system an advantage
