Duties:
·Production of Mechanical System designs
·Managing day to day project mechanical design activities
·Review and approval of Drawing and Design Schemes
·Participation in Design review meetings
·Production of Equipment Specifications / Procurement Specifications
·Demonstrate a clear understanding of legislative requirements (CDM & Building regulations)
·Liaison with suppliers and manufacturers
·Liaison with customer technical staff
·Production of draft technical documents
·Advising Project Managers on technical issues with your area of expertise
·Assessment of estimates / cost reports
·Conduct of trials, testing and acceptance plans and development of new systems
·Defect analysis and solution
·Occasional travel
Experience required:
·Experience in the design of building services and site services, to include design of water supply systems.
·Familiarity with Prefabricated modular designs would be a distinct advantage.
·Experienced in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel etc.)
·Experienced in the use of AutoCAD and Solidworks
·Knowledge of ISO Container specifications and design of containerised utilities would be desirable.
