Insurance Sales Advisor
This is a branch based role, requiring high levels of customer service as well as strong communication skills as you will be dealing face to face with customers in the branch. It really is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading businesses in its field, helping us provide our customers with a first class service through our branch network that spans over 450 branches in the UK. We are in an exciting phase of rapid growth and are therefore recruiting across the UK in our branch network to continue to provide excellence in customer service.
Overall purpose of this role
·You’ll join a team of experienced Advisors who sell a whole range of insurance products by providing friendly, informative advice from a wide choice of insurers. In addition to receiving full product and sales training, you’ll also be given continued support and development.
Key accountabilities
·Maintain an excellent standard of customer service by explaining choices and providing recommendations ensuring customer and business needs are met.
·Achieve all agreed sales for personal lines insurance products and ensure systems and procedures are properly maintained.
·Ensure all sales are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s compliant processes.
·Prioritise your workload by planning and focusing your tasks.
·You may be required to manage activities in the absence of the Manager.
Education/qualifications
·Good general education, qualifications ideally include English and Maths GCSE.
The work experience you’ll need
·We will consider candidates from customer service and sales backgrounds, gained either in a retail or call centre environment.
·Candidates will also be welcomed from an Insurance background, preferably from a brokerage or call centre environment.
What we’ll be looking for in you
·Confidence to learn and develop through continuous training and good communication skills both over the telephone and face to face.
·A flexible approach.
·Confidence to present complex information in clear, simple terms and the ability to work on your own initiative and be a real team player.
·You’ll need above average numeracy and literacy, along with good keyboard skills.
·Smart appearance.
·As a Senior Insurance Advisor you’ll share your knowledge and skills with the team through coaching and mentoring. You’ll also have the ability to lead the team and delegate tasks.

Terms and conditions
·A flexible working week of 37½ hours, including Saturdays on a rota basis and extended trading hours, when applicable
