If that is so then this structural engineering role is probably perfect for you.
This multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for an experienced structural engineer who can show design flair and expertise within this environment and who can simultaneously lead and manage a team of talented and passionate graduates and technicians.
Currently working on a number of high profile building structures including new sustainable buildings, hospital buildings, large civil/structural regeneration projects and several education projects within the private and public sectors you will have a wide variety of works to be involved in.
Your primary responsibilities will include the design and management of individual projects up to £15million in value, as well as sections of larger projects to the client’s time and budgetary constraints.
You will be responsible for the provision of a high level of technological input as well as supervising the input of more junior members of the building structures team. Additionally it is expected that you can manage current client relationships whilst working on developing new clients.
With significant experience in building structures design and engineering backing up your honours degree in structural or civil engineering degree you are more than capable of hitting the ground running. It is expected that you will already have achieved, or be well on the way to achieving, chartered membership of IStructE or ICE.
You should have extensive experience of working with architects, preferably in the North West or North Wales, but proven success in other regions will show your capabilities and those engineers with experience of designing and/or managing the creation of sustainable buildings will be viewed favourably.
