Background:
Our client key products have evolved dramatically, from Payphones, to Internet. With in excess of 300k users each month, at over 1,000 sites including 37 airports and 900+ hotels, they are ideally placed to further develop its product offering.
Current developments include Printing Kiosks and services, User Accounts, WiFi Product Range Add-ons, Online Portal Monetisation & Affiliates, and Online Media Sales. However the range of innovations is by its nature, moving at speed.
The role of Product Innovation Projects Manager is key to helping make this happen.
Job Description:
To manage all aspects of selected product development projects, and assisting as required, other trials and sub-projects.
Assisting in identifying further enhancements, and future developments across the company product portfolio.
Identify and develop commercial opportunities, through existing and future products.
Evaluate new online opportunities for the Internet Desk Portals, and WiFi Landing Pages, investigating as required.
Interface with various internal and external groups to ensure the product and project tasks are met within the demanding timescales.
Liaising with site owners & product partners, to ensure trials are maximised.
To manage and analyse results from the trials, by collating data from various sources, and producing pre specified and ad-hoc reports.
Key Skills Required:
Proven commercial awareness. Self driven, self starter, able to prioritise own work load.
Project management experience, ideally in an online and/or telecoms or WiFi situation.
Web development experience would be useful (but not essential) - Ideally in Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash & PHP, along with understanding of online affiliate arrangements.
Able to handle change, and multiple tasks, working in a time critical environment.
Proficient in obvious PC skills including Word & Excel, but also with good understanding of online tools and WiFi market place.
Any understanding or experience of online media sales would be useful
