As a result of a desire to continue improving the way that we work for our clients, we currently have exciting opportunities for proactive and experienced Commercial Buyers to develop and maintain both general merchandise and technological product ranges and to effectively source merchandise items from approved suppliers. Unlike any other Buyer role, you will be sourcing a wide variety of different products to suit the clients' reward platform needs. This can range from the latest electronic goods and all manner of aspirational consumer products to money can't buy products or lifetime experiences.
With the ability to think laterally and creatively, you will be responsible for sourcing products and successfully negotiating cost to ensure that the best price, margin, quality, service and delivery is achieved. Organised and motivated, you will provide, analyse and interpret statistical data and propose routes for process and supplier improvement in preparation for the weekly trading meetings. With the drive to succeed, you will ultimately ensure the highest standards are achieved in order to fulfil expectations.
We are looking for a tenacious Commercial Buyer who must possess ecommerce and dynamic sourcing experience. With strong commercial awareness and knowledge of implementation planning, you will ideally working towards or CIPS qualified.
