Our client is an established freight forwarder, due to rapid developments they are now looking to employ an experienced road freight sales executive. The main purpose of the role will be to develop new markets within the European road freight sphere.
Successful candidates must have previous experience within European trailer planning, operations and a good desk sales background alongside the ability to manage both customer and supplier relationships effectively.
Candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook and knowledge of one or more European languages would be a strong advantage, as would familiarity with working to ISO quality standards.
This is a new operation and is a great opportunity for motivated candidates capable of making a running start to build a business from the ground up and to realise the benefits of their achievements.
The role can either be home or office based, some travel will be required in the UK and Europe from time to time both to service customers and suppliers and to provide occasional cover for our other locations. Expenses will be paid but candidates must have their own car.
