Openings exist for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers with a highly successful global company based in East Hertfordshire providing fastening solutions to a diverse range of industry sectors including electronics, automotive, construction, solar energy and many others. The ideal applicants will be Degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline with a higher qualification being highly beneficial. Experience Sought:
Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
FEA packages.
Familiarity of fasteners, cold forming advantageous.
Hands-on skills covering design, experimentation and testing.
Familiarity with the full product lifecycle from conception to final production.
