Based in one of our branches, this is a front-line customer-facing sales role in which you'll achieve ­ and exceed ­ targets by providing appropriate, understandable advice and building lifetime relationships with customers.

This vacancy is a trainee position and you will be required to attend an intensive training course where my client will help you pass your CeFA qualification and once you're through that, you're on your way.

This will be followed by a structured training schedule, where you'll spend time learning about the company, our products and what it is to be a PFA. Then you'll be regularly monitored and receive ongoing support from a senior PFA until you are full of confidence.

The basic salary for this position is £22,770 for Part qualified with a competitive total reward package.

Requirements
  • Delivering quality sales and productivity targets within branch outlets.
  • Delivering seamless and efficient service through effective diary management, consequently minimising ''no shows''.
  • Ensuring a high standards of customer service with all sales activities geared to establishing long-term customer relationships.
  • Pro-actively seeking personal recommendations and opportunities to self generate business.
  • Supporting retail colleagues in the sales of their products and services.
  • Achieving company file quality standards to ensure all customer-related documentation is completed accurately and supports advice given.
  • Providing coaching, training and feedback for branch staff, praising good contribution.
  • Working closely with PFA colleagues, offering assistance where necessary and sharing best practices.
  • Ensuring branch colleagues are clear about overall and individual contribution to lead generation and quality sales.
  • Ensuring all administration and documentation meets company standards. Maintaining professional competence by managing own Continual Professional Development.

Individual / Qualifications
  • Minimum FPC 1,CeFA 1 or CeMap qualified
  • 1 years sales experience in financial services or retail sales. (preferably face to face experience but call centre experience would be considered - if face to face experience has been gained in a previous role and only if you are actively selling from warm/cold leads and closing the sales yourself.)
  • Progressive career history
  • Must be delivering or exceeding target in your current sales role.
  • Sound credit history
  • PC Literate
