Engineering / Project Director - oil & gas

This specialist consultancy provides a range of services to the naval architecture, marine engineering and offshore engineering sectors including design, analysis, project management and construction supervision.

An Engineering / Project Director is sought to take on a key role as part of a three man senior management team and play an active role in developing the Aberdeen office’s capability and resources. As well as possessing a strong understanding of structural design principles, the job holder will be as equally capable in business development activities and in handling the commercial aspects of individual projects. A major emphasis is also placed on maintaining and developing client relationships.

This is a broadly-based role with many responsibilities in terms of developing technical & engineering standards, planning, management of small to medium sized teams, setting quality standards, budgeting and business networking.

A Chartered Structural, Civil or Marine Engineer is required.

You should possess good IT skills including Office, Autocad and specialist analytical software.
