Position Title: Electrical Engineer
Kashagan Project Division - Offshore
Location:
1) Brentford - 6 Months
2) Atyrau, Kazakhstan - 12 Months
Purpose:
* Monitoring and review of Contractor and sub-supplier's detailed design drawings and documents, in particular Type B electrical documents.
* Ensure Contractor's and EP procedures and schedules are adhered to.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for engineering quality and adherence to standards.
* Accountable for Electrical aspects of the work scope and schedule.
* Engineering interface with other departments within the EP Project, including support to the interface and change management procedures.
* Review and respond to Technical Queries from Contractor.
* Assist in technical preparation of responses to variation proposal by Contractor.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Relevant experience in discipline engineering in an offshore oil and gas project environment.
* Experience as discipline leader.
* Relevant degree or equivalent in Electrical engineering discipline.
* Experience of large multidiscipline project.

* Ability to make engineering decisions and provide guidance.
* Adaptability and problem solving capability.
* HSE awareness.
Working Conditions:
* Based in Brentford, with trips to other European work sites. Followed by Kazakhstan
