E-Commerce Enterprise Architect is offered great career opportunity to develop and maintain key elements of the overall enterprise architecture and input to the IS strategy for this leading blue chip financial services company.

• To model and maintain components of the UK’s business and application architectures as assigned (current and target)
• To model and maintain blueprints of UKtarget capabilities
• To produce or contribute to cohesive roadmaps which explain the transition and migration steps required to reach the target state
• To ensure that the IS strategy is aligned to the business strategy by developing appropriate relationships with assigned business stakeholders and proactively demonstrating innovation opportunities to the business
• To produce, maintain and monitor adherence to IS Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines through appropriate architecture governance, as required
• To provide input to strategic IS investment decisions through technical input to business cases and provision of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) information
• To analyse and evaluate technology, trends and gather market place/industry intelligence from external sources as required as input to IS Strategy and as enablers for innovation
• To assist with developing a centre of excellence in Enterprise Architecture by providing consultancy and guidance to projects and ensuring that appropriate architecture designs are produced

• Apply own specialist knowledge across a wide business area
• Insurance knowledge, including business process modelling
• Deep application component modelling and application integration experience
• Deep knowledge and experience of web based technologies and best practice approaches to web design
• Broad knowledge of architecture models (Distributed Computing, EAI, SOA)
• Broad knowledge of application software products
