B.S. Pension Fund Trustee Limited administers one of the largest pension funds in the UK. The Glasgow office is also responsible for administering other Group final salary pension schemes and paying pensions to over 90,000 pensioners.
Our client is currently looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual to join them as a Pensions Administration Officer. Final salary pensions experience is essential. Also, the candidate will have:
Experience of calculating benefits on retirement, leaving, and death
Understanding of contracting-out;
Awareness of running a pensioner payroll; and
Awareness of reporting requirements to trustees, Revenue and DWP.
Experience of dealing with cradle to grave pensions and also experience with dealing with DB scheme’s
The candidate must also be keen to work in a busy office environment and have a good administrative background.
You will be expected to quickly become expert in our main processes - maintaining membership records, calculating and paying pensions - and using the “Profund” and “Propay” computerised pension’s administration systems. You must be computer literate with good keyboard skills and be well organised.
You will have been educated to A level or Higher level, or equivalent, and can demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You must be committed to providing a high level of customer care.
