Large consumer publisher of both monthly and weekly magazines mainly for the hobby market. This particular magazine has been established for over 21 years and is the leading publication in its field of spiritual development and complementary health.
Role and experience required for the role of Advertisement Sales Manager:
The Advertisement Manager will be responsible for maintaining and building the core customer base – mbs book publishers, complementary therapists, retreats, natural products and services – as well as identifying new areas .
As the main link between the magazine and our key advertisers the successful candidate will also play an important role in the marketing and promotion of the magazine – obtaining relevant products for cover mounts, competitions and subscription incentives – all of which are seen by our clients as value added enhancements to their marketing strategies.
Much of the job will envolve selling and account management over the phone, but the ability to originate produce and present high quality presentational material to directors and senior staff at corporate clients is essential.
The Advertisement Manager will report directly to the Managing Director of Diamond Publishing, and will have one dedicated advertisement executive reporting to him or her, and the support of a group production and design team.
You will need to have a solid, proven track record in advertising sales so would suit a senior salesperson looking for their next step into a management position.
