A challenging new opportunity has arisen with this highly respected Global Company for a well qualified and experienced Real-Time Signal Processing Engineer to join their dedicated team working on the latest wireless technologies.
Essential knowledge includes strong C programming skills together with a good working knowledge of Physical Layer and Layer 1 / MAC level operation.
As part of a small team of engineers the successful applicant will work on a high performance signal processing engine, interpreting wireless standards specification, developing signal processing algorithms and deriving C implementations for a novel DSP architecture.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:
Knowledge of OFDM digital radio design including demodulation, synchronisation and FEC decoders.
Physical Layer & Layer 1 / MAC level operation.
Knowledge of : 3GPP, W-CDMA / HSPA , WiMAX.
Signal processing concepts and algorithms.
Embedded C programming.
Proven Mathematical skills and Matlab knowledge.
Background in software development for mobile wireless, automotive or consumer devices.
Knowledge of current wireless protocols and baseband architectures.
