SECURITY OFFICERS - part-time, full-time, night and day shifts

Ranging from £7185 (part-time) - £20,234 (full-time)

The aim of the role is to provide full front desk reception, security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and The Corps policies and procedures.

MAIN (TYPICAL) ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE POST

• To control access, issuing visitor security passes and record and monitor the visitors book according to the clients requirements.
• To answer all incoming calls in a timely manner and manage the switchboard.
• To accurately redirect all incoming calls to the correct department/employee.
• To record and distribute messages when individual is not available.
• To monitor the CCTV system in line with the client requirements.
• To respond and react to any incidents or security issues that may arise.
• To ensure the lifts are operational
• To patrol premises and specified areas as requested in the site specific assignment instructions.
• To manage incoming and outgoing couriers, and arrange prompt delivery to the recipient.
• To actively assist in weekly fire alarm tests.
• To allow access to approved personnel to restricted areas as required.
• To secure the premises and the setting and un-setting of alarms as specified in the site specific assignment instructions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POST

The job holder requires previous experience in a Security industry.

It is essential you have a SIA license.
